Dr. Carter has treated many patients with cancer over the years, and Taking Charge of Fighting Cancer is a product of her experiences working with them. She feels privileged that they shared their healing journeys with her. Taking Charge of Fighting Cancer is a how-to book about fighting cancer. Most other books only talk in general terms about what a cancer patient should do. Dr. Carter actually shows readers what to ask, what to say, what to do, and how to do it.
Dr. Carter lives with her husband in Miami, Florida. She has two sons, two daughters-in-law, and two grandchildren.view less
