Luebbert, a native of St. Louis, Missouri, is a Master of Divinity graduate (with Hebrew and Greek) of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in New Orleans, Louisiana; a Bachelor of Arts graduate of Missouri Valley College in Marshall, Missouri; attended Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Oklahoma; and an Associate in Arts Degree graduate of Hannibal LaGrange College, (now University) in Hannibal, Missouri.
He is married to the former Miss Dorothy Fay Embree of Moberly, Missouri. They have two children, Joy Luebbert Bolton, Executive Director, Kentucky Woman’s Missionary Union, and R. Wesley Luebbert, a transportation entrepeneur of Lexington, South Carolina.
The Luebberts have served churches in Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and Missouri. They now share a home in Shelbyville, Kentucky with their daughter and son-in-law, Rev. R. Lee Bolton. Luebbert teaches a Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church of Shelbyville.view less
