Joel is Internationally,
Nationally, and State Licensed and Certified in 18 different specialties
including Marriage, Family, & Adolescent issues, Acute & Post-Traumatic
Stress Management and Debriefing, School Counseling and Crisis Response,
Chemical Dependency & other addictions, and Criminal Justice. He has done
other writing, including a book and training video on Suicide Prevention and
Intervention. He is currently a Therapist in private practice in addition to teaching
Introductory and Developmental Psychology as an Adjunct Faculty at a local
