She has published in SPECTATOR, HOOSIER PARENT, CHURCH SCHHOL TODAY, and GRACE POINTS. Her book reviews were in CIRCUIT RIDER. She wrote two units of
DAILY BIBLE STUDY. Her poems appeared in several publications, including WHITE RIVER QUARTERLY, KAIROS, MATURE YEARS, and OHIO VALLEY WRITERS GUILD
NEWSLETTER. Her PALM SUNDAY PARADE, a dramatic worship, had several printing by CSS.
Mrs. McKown has traveled in Canado, United Kingdom, Central and South America, Nepal and India. She and her husband, The Rev. Leslie McKown live in
Henderson, Kentucky.
Her daughters are Karen and Liana. She has six grand childre and six great grand children. Grandmothering, leading retreats, and gardening are her
delight. She and Pem Pfisterer Clark collaborated on AN ELEPHANT STORY FOR ALEX, published in 2009.view less
