A high school science teacher, she has served in Bolivia, Peru, Panama, and the United States (New York and Hawaii). A graduate of Santa Maria University in Arequipa, Peru, a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators and a former writer for Hawaii Catholic Herald, she writes of the poor in many lands. Her articles and stories have been published in the United States and Latin America. She currently writes from Ossining, New York.view less
