She is an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Army and has a degree in business management.
Linda was one of the first women recruited after the Women’s Army Corps (WAC) was disassembled and integrated into the Army. After Linda married another soldier, it became harder for the two of them to stay stationed together; she gave up her military career so she could be by her man’s side. She still played an active role throughout her husband’s military career by volunteering her time to support the spouses and family members of her husband’s fellow soldiers during many hardship deployments.
Linda was blessed during her travels with her husband, and she had the opportunity to work with many major contractors that support the troops. With these opportunities, she was still able to be part of the Army in the background and support her husband and his units in some capacity.
After her husband retired, Linda nearly died from the stress of her job; she took a three-year break from daily working and started writing stories. She considers herself a pretty good storyteller.view less
