Her love of writing began in high school when she received an A in English class for a story about an incident that happened in home economics class. Since then she has attended various workshops and conferences and has written poetry, memoirs, travel stories and short stories. A former executive secretary, she wrote In the Shadow of the Past in the evenings and on weekends while working full time. Only a few people saw the manuscript before it went to the publisher. Today, nearly ten years later, it is finally available for readers worldwide.view less
