Nominated as Australian Fashion Laureate in August 2008, Carla Zampatti is also a Companion of the Order of Australia, was a Bulletin/Qantas Businesswoman of the Year, and in 1994 was named by the fashion industry of Australia as Designer of the Year. In 2004, the Italian government appointed Zampatti Commendatore (Commander) in the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.view less
