For many years he runs an independent urban planning office in Amsterdam, Netherlands. His practice is known for its innovative approach to research and design. He’s worked worldwide on many mobility-related projects and transit-oriented developments. All his work is characterized by a multidisciplinary approach at the intersections of urban planning, transport, culture and technology. Moreover he is visiting professor for ‘mobility and space’ at Ghent University, Belgium. He published extensively in journals and books.
