She also teaches fitness classes and is a lifestyle coach.
Her concern for the world and the children in it led her to create the non-profit Hayes Foundation (www.hayesfoundation.org), named to honor her son, Hayes, who died at age four and half months of SIDS. She launched a successful national campaign This Side Up While Sleeping (www.thissideupcampaign.org), that delivers educational messages on a cute onesie to help reduce the risk of SIDS.
Meanwhile, Kyra continued to run her own award-winning company, Oliver Creative, helping clients build and market their brands, and eventually merged with a national PR firm. Today, Kyra continues to help others with her creative expertise as a consultant.
Kyra cares deeply about her relationship with God, as well as building her relationships with family and friends. She notes that “the influences we surround ourselves with help shape us.” With her website called y.o.u. (your own utopia), (www.yourownutopia.com), Kyra shares ways for people to take care of themselves through recipes, workouts, DIY ideas, good reads, and, of course, living life with a positive mindset filled with love and kindness.
