She has belonged to a women’s dream group for the last 20 years. Tanya has been teaching at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco since 1980. Currently she is on the Faculty of the Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program. Tanya has published two previous books: Medea's Folly: Women's Relationships and the Search for Intimacy (1998), and Persephone Returns: Victims, Heroes, and the Journey from the Underworld (1996). She is a mixed media artist who has been exhibiting, primarily in the Bay Area, since 1999. As a visiual artist she uses mythological, political, and biographical imagery to explore the territory of the unknown woman.view less
