His own fiction has won awards (Aurealis and Black Dog) and he has been a multiple recipient of numerous other awards. His stories have been read on stage and on radio and some of his work was written for film. Working as a publisher he has published over 20 titles with a years' best anthology every year (now in its 5th year). Vanishing Light was his first published novel and one that delivers a strong and fascinating future.
