His formal education was in musi...view moreThomas Woodrow Murphy was born in North Carolina. He was raised in a Christian home, the son of a pastor in a small town in central North Carolina. His formal education was in music and he received a Master’s Degree in Opera Production from Florida State University. After a college teaching stint in Florida, Thomas moved to New York City to pursue an operatic singing career. He sang professionally at The New City Opera, Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall and local churches. Thomas later entered the business world and emjoyed an award-winning, 25-year career in sales.
Thomas is the author of “Songs of the Morning: 365 Poetic Devotionals” and "I, Homines: the man who crucified Jesus."view less
