I completed my secondary education in Calgary, Alberta where I then attended the University of Calgary for ...view moreI am Canadian born but raised in India (where my parents were stationed as missionaries). I completed my secondary education in Calgary, Alberta where I then attended the University of Calgary for two years. I completed my BA degree (with a major in Biblical Studies) at Point Loma College in San Diego, California. After a short time as an Instructor and Dean of Men at a college in Winnipeg, Manitoba I proceeded to the University of Toronto where I earned my M.A. degree in Ancient Near Eastern History and Languages. Finally, I attended the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC, for Professional Teaching Certification.Since graduating from UBC my partner and I have lived in Victoria on Vancouver Island where I have been an Intermediate/Middle School Teacher for the past thirty-one years. I am now happily semi-retired doing what I like best: lecturing, teaching, writing...and travelling.view less
