My style of writing has though. No longer do I write about everyone being happy or how someone fell in love within one hour of meeting one another. I still write about love, but I also add the trials and tribulations people go through when they find and have it. I even write about happy people, but I also write about how behind those smiles is darkness, sometimes loneliness.
I write to bring out a reaction in people. I want people to email me and tell me how much my poems touched or inspired them. I want my work to be read in book clubs or one of my poems to be read at a wedding. God didn't give me this gift to write for myself but to share it with the world, and I will continue to do so until I breathe my last breath.view less
