Playing board games with friends over wine is my favorite pastime. I currently live on an old farm near Charlottesville with my family, a fierce, free-roaming beagle and two lazy cats.I didn’t intend to write erotica.I grew up loving books and reading. A few years ago, I decided to make productive use of my free time and took up writing as a hobby. I had an idea for a regular, vanilla, non-erotic fiction novel and thought it would be fun to try to type it out on my laptop. I quickly learned that I had no idea how much work it really takes to write consistently! It was an eye-opening experience, and my respect and appreciation for true authors increased dramatically.Although I initially enjoyed working on my story, it was a struggle to remain motivated on those after-work evenings and weekends. My novel took shape, but the process was painfully slow. Despite my good efforts and progress, I became discouraged. One morning, I woke from a good dream. An erotic dream. I distinctly remember weaving together the fantasy elements of the dream with the reality of my actual sexual experiences. Throughout the day my mind was on fire with sexual thoughts. That evening, instead of working on my novel, I decided to try to transcribe my lusty daydreams. If nothing else, it would be good practice in converting the images in my head into text.To my amazement, the words just stated pouring out onto the electronic page. I could barely type fast enough to keep up with my thoughts. I temporarily set aside my novel to see if this fountain would exhaust quickly, but it didn’t. Not surprisingly, a story based on my own experience was much easier to write than my original fictional novel! Before I knew it, my new story equaled the size of my original novel and the word count kept increasing. Although it took more work than I originally anticipated, I determined to make the story both complete and satisfying. After nearly three years I was able to self-publish Echoes from a Kiss in 2016. It took four more years of squeezing my writing time between family obligations to publish Pleasure After Pain, the second book in my (mostly) autobiographical series.Thank you for considering my work. If you like interracial erotica then I’m confident that you will enjoy my books. I'm currently writing the third book in the series that will continue the tale of my intimate stories.view less
