A considerable amount of his experience involved African issues, on assignments in Africa and in Washington. While in the Congo, Mr. Boudreau met and befriended several mercenaries, who at that time were working for the Congolese Government. When they rebelled against the government, chaos ensued. He has written a memoir on these times in the Congo and Madagascar. “A Teetering Balance” depicts American activities to thwart Soviet in-roads in Africa during the Cold War.
Mr. Boudreau is a writer and lecturer, who also assisted the United Nations on missions. He and his wife Dailyn reside on Seabrook Island, SC. Their three grown sons remain in their native New England.view less
