She still finds that idea that she married and lost him surprising. Growing up in California, she was a farm girl, and that practicality is often echoed in her writing. Her favorite question is "What if?" and that is how most of her stories get started. While she writes romances, she also has a series of science fantasy she is working on, as well as a thriller.
