But winters were cold, so I moved to Dallas to attend Southern Methodist University. While studying business at SMU, one of my short stories was published in "Criteria", a journal of exemplary Freshman writing. Years later, I returned to my Alma Mater to take several creative writing courses. Since then, I have raised two sons and worked as the Chief Financial Officer for a production company. Currently, during the summer months, I teach water aerobics in the Dallas area. My love for wine, water and writing led me to start my own website: winewaterandwords.com. There I post reviews of wines, wineries and wine bars along with reviews of islands throughout the world that I have been fortunate enough to visit. I still live in the Dallas area with my husband whom I met while at SMU!view less
