His research and writing have focused primarily on denominational studies (Presbyterianism) and new religious movements (Mormonism). His articles have appeared most recently in the Journal of Presbyterian History and the Journal of Mormon History. An Ohio native, Brackenridge has lived in San Antonio since 1962.view less
