He left behind his memoirs to his family and his son, David Dockery, edited them and added his memoirs to create a book called Looking Back: Growing Up in Middle-America in the 20th Century. He was very active in Rotary, Masons, Moose Lodge, and Barrington High School. He also traveled the world in retirement making friends everywhere he went. His unique insight into the times of his childhood are what make his book so interesting and delightful.view less
