He is married to his sweetheart of 45 years, has two daughters and four grandchildren. He has lived most of his life in California, of which the last 35 years have been in Nevada County, located in the Sierra Foothills. He has been a mechanical engineer/technician, a welder, machinist, sales representative for Hertz Rent-a-car, and lived in Berlin Germany for four years in the early 1970s. Since living in Nevada County, he has been a Real Estate Broker, specializing in residential, commercial, property management, and mortgage finance. He travels extensively and does travel writing for fun. Writing has been a special pastime and he enjoys both fiction and non-fiction.view less
