The author considers animals as brothers and sisters, but the author doesn’t have any pets at home because the author respects all of them!! The author’s own favorite quote is ‘a stupid bird flying in the sky is better than an intelligent frog in a well’! Mythica Mayan writes stories only about the January Highlands (J.H), a fictitious classic town down south in the United States. J.H is an old place of ranchers and cattle raisers, but the region kept to its old habits when people adapted to the new technologies and demands. The architecture of the city is mostly classical, but it is filled with people who are immigrants from all over the world. The diversity in terms of race and culture made J.H a special place because even if English was the official language, you could hear all kinds of languages depending on how mad a wife was or how nervous a man was at the bar after a long day in the cornfields. January Highlands is defined by the unity in diversity and even if the southern merchants got ripped off each summer by the people of the north, they’ll start again and again doing the same thing each year with smiles on their faces as if nothing had happened. This made life easier and happier to live in J.H!view less
