Encomienda is an author of fantasy and adventure books. He grew up in Phoenix, Arizona and started writing at age nine. When he was 18, he started modeling for an agency in Mesa, Arizona and left a year later to pursue his writing career.
He took several writing classes at Glendale Community College and Phoenix College and won several writing competitions. He entered a poetry contest and won 2nd place, also getting his work in The Traveler magazine.
He currently lives with his family in El Mirage, Arizona.view less
