She always thought of books and music as “friends”. As an only child, these were important to cultivate as allies. She wrote her first poem in high school and after getting her BA in Music Education, she took several courses in Creative Writing and subsequently has written poetry, short stories, plays (theater, radio and screen) and this novella.
