As a journalist, he has written about the county�s history for a number of Delaware publications and he has worked for the Daily Times in Salisbury, MD. He has also been an editor for The Sussex Post and he was the Managing Editor for The Sussex Countian. Diehl has won several awards for his writing from the Maryland, Delaware, D.C. Press Association (MDDC). He has standing relationships with several historical societies in the county, the Delaware Public Archives and local museums. He also maintains a close relationship with Delaware Technical & Community College as their former public relations officer and is currently a partner in a public relations firm.view less
