In 2003, he was a guest fringe presenter at the Guardian Literary Festival in Hay-on-Wye, Wales, doing readings of his sonnets.
John has had a lifelong fascination with human sexuality and sexual attraction. He firmly believes that we are as we are according to how we come to terms with our sex drive.
A lot of his work is written from a female perspective. Many times he’s been accused of being a woman masquerading as a man!
He’s also written a play: ‘A Full and Frank Account of the Sex Life of Debra Gordon as told by Deb Herself.’ At the time of writing, it has proved too graphic (and realistic?) for two theatre companies despite having been approved by three female proofreaders. He continues to live in hope for ‘Deb’ and has plans to write a second play.
John’s primary motivation is to celebrate the joys and wonders of sex. He offers his stories in that spirit.view less
