Her cousin invited her to Santa Barbara, and she finally chose San Francisco to work as a secretary. San Francisco suited her better, and after a few years, she found her husband in St. Mary’s Church, California Street—just her cup of tea. She married and had three handsome sons. The author is now a grandmother of two beautiful boys.
