She was so ashamed of her actions that she felt she had to keep her abortion a secret. By the grace of God, she met and married her husband, Keith, and they have three beautiful, living children. She has always believed there was a fourth little voice calling out to be heard, the voice of her unborn child. She battled that voice for years until it became impossible to ignore it.
She sought counseling, and God lead her to Refuge Pregnancy Center in Conyers, Georgia. That is where she found comfort and healing for the first time. Through the H.E.A.R.T. program, she was able to overcome her guilt, fear, and shame.
She became a counselor and advocate for other women and girls, who found themselves in an unplanned pregnancy and faced with the same choice she made many years ago.
This is the story of her healing and her hope of restoration for anyone who has ever suffered from post-abortion syndrome (PAS).view less
