I went...view moreI was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota and spent my early years there, happily. Later, my family moved away and, after many years of study, I became a graduate of Wayzata Senior High School.
I went to the University of Minnesota, College of Liberal Arts, and earned my Bachelor’s Degree with a Major in English and a Minor in History. All the while, I have been writing and playing music with my various rock-based groups, such as Oz, Essence, Krank Kinder and more recently, Syd’s Attic. Back then, I was a member of a secret society, but we don’t speak much about that…
Professionally, I have done many things, but the most notable for me, has been the tutoring of college students at Saint Paul College and Metropolitan State University in the Twin Cities, as well as being a long term Judge for many years, involved with exhibits and developing the website category for Minnesota History Day competition!!!
It was these experiences that encouraged me to achieve my teaching credentials through Metropolitan State Post Bach- Urban Teacher Program-5-12 grade Language Arts. My Student Teaching Internship was done on the East-Side of Saint Paul, at Harding High School.view less
