She went to college in Flagstaff, where she met her husband, Don. They married and began their teaching careers. They have a son, Dave, and a daughter, Christine. Rita currently resides in the southwest desert with Don.
Dave Curry, the illustrator, is a graduate of the Art Institute in Phoenix, with a degree in media arts and animation. He is currently a freelance animator and illustrator. He resides in the Seattle area.view less
