He has been an adjunct instructor as well a...view moreMichael Carrino was born in New York City in 1949. He received his M.F.A. in Writing from Vermont College of Norwich University in 1984. He has been an adjunct instructor as well as a lecturer of composition and poetry at SUNY Plattsburgh since 1987. He was the co-founder and poetry editor of SUNY Plattsburgh’s literary journal, the Saranac Review from 2005 to 2010. In addition to publishing poems in numerous literary journals, he has written four other books of poetry: Some Rescues, Under This Combustible Sky, Café Sonata, and Autumn’s Return to the Maple Pavilion. He lives in Plattsburgh, New York, on the shores of Lake Champlain, with his wife, Thelma.view less
