She taught English and history at a school for girls, and later taught physical education at a school for the deaf and blind. Finally she became a school librarian in both New England and New Jersey public schools. While Pam was teaching her library classes and telling stories to students, they often urged her to write. She now writes full-time, and for a wide audience— elementary, middle grade, young adult, and adult. Pam grew up in New England but now lives in an old farm house in Hunterdon County, New Jersey with two dogs, a cat, and a great deal of wildlife.view less
