Out of Ahmed’s creation , nine short films and dramas have been produced and telecast in various TV channels. A number of local awards has been accorded to him in recognition of his books. His wife Rifat Reza is a teacher. As a member of Bangladesh Civil Service he worked as a permanent secretary to the Government and a member of the Planning Commission. Currently, Masud Ahmed is the Comptroller and Auditor General of Bangladesh.
