Al also volunteered for Officer Training School after which he married the most incredible woman on earth, Jill.He then attended Navigator School finishing #1 in his class, then assigned to Electronic Warfare School (again #1), then combat crew B-52 School and then joined his squadron at McCoy AFB (Orlando, Fl.) He had been rotating to S.E. Asia for three tours during which time his daughter, Jenna, was born. He flew 171 combat missions and was awarded The Distinguished Flying Cross and six Air Medals. He surrendered his regular USAF commission and joined Copi-Quik Inc. with his brothers. His son Al arrived in 1972. All the brothers formed Dupli-Fax in 1974 and within a decade became the largest independent dealer organization in America. They ultimately sold the business after 16 years of success to Canon Inc. In 1990 Al became disabled and retired to Florida. He now spends his time with Jill, his children, grandchildren, wheelchair tennis, painting and writing.view less
