Boukair started writing in the third grade in the form of plays about horses, and later progressed to penning imaginative screenplays for the much loved 70's TV show Fantasy Island. Since then, her writing has taken many roads-less-traveled and has culminated in the romantic suspense novel INDIGO; the first book of the Chroma Series.
Though born, bred, and currently living in Ohio, Amy yearns for a year-round warmer climate to allow her a more palatable environment to write. If she's not working on her next book, she can be found reading anything and everything from Neil Gaiman to Diana Gabaldon, listening to a wide variety of music, or binge-watching TV shows and movies. She is also an avid gamer, karaoke hack, and the self-proclaimed President of the Bacon Fan Club.
Amy has a BA from Notre Dame College of Ohio (not to be confused with THE Notre Dame), and even spent a brief stint in law school. Writing is in her blood however, and no matter how hard she tries to distract herself with the internet, she is continually drawn back to making up fantastical stories.view less
