Together with her family, she has provided licensed foster care to physically and sexually abused adolescents. She and her husband spend much of the year in Africa, having served victims of war in refugee camps and caring for babies abandoned due to HIV/AIDS. They maintain a home in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and have two adult daughters.view less
