Her company, Cheryl Hughey Promotions (CHP) LLC, was opened after she served on a regional Emmy-nominated film project and had accumulated a wealth of audience stream building expertise in membership development for an upscale chamber of commerce, along with serving as a Public Relations Director for a well-respected jazz club.
Cheryl Hughey Promotions built a solid reputation by interweaving traditional press like radio, print and television with the word-of-mouth pipeline for companies and events that featured pop acts like Kool & the Gang, Kenny G, James Ingram and Jody Watley, along with a long list of indie CD releases around the globe (including a #1 Billboard charting album in 2009 and a #1 Billboard co-producer in 2010).
