After completing a tertiary degree he was posted to teach in Pingelly, another small town on the Great Southern Railway line. During the 1960s and 70s he and his wife spent seven years working in New Zealand, England, Canada and South Australia. Then they returned to Perth where Rod took up a position at Edith Cowan University. Hung Out To Dry is his first novel.view less
