He has been writing fiction for several years ...view moreJames Remley is an author of short stories as well as a professor of history at Lewis and Clark college just outside of Portland, OR. He has been writing fiction for several years and has been published in numerous magazines. As an author he likes to write what he enjoys reading mainly science fictions and horror.
James is also a jazz muscian. He spends many nights traveling with his band, the Argonauts across the Northwest playing at any place that will provide the group with a venue and black coffee. He lives with his wife of many years in Tigard on just under a half acre of land surrounded on all sides by a lush forest.
As a student of history James has traveled the world twice in search of interesting places. The first trip included only a backpack and $5000 dollars saved by working as a carnival barker for three summers with his father. The second as a cruise ship director.view less
