She became a booklover and devoted herself to writing her own fiction in grade school. She has been unable to put down the pen since. Her work includes novels, contributions to several anthologies, and nonfiction articles. Her fiction explores traditions, mystery, folklore, and the paranormal. The settings are as varied as her travels: England, Scotland, Civil War battlefields, the suburbs, and the Rocky Mountains. Her characters include lords and ladies, cowboys and do-gooders, strong-willed women, family relationships, and heroic and villainous men—and yes, ghosts. She loves horses and old houses, classical music and flower gardens, and has a weakness for chocolate and bookstores.
She resides with her husband in the Kansas Flint Hills and sometimes on the Florida gulf coast. Family and friends fill her non-writing hours. Learn more about her at www.coffeeshopwriters.comview less
