As an acquisitions and development editor for Prentice Hall, she also wrote Abort! Retry! Fail!, a Book of the Month Club alternate selection. Susan is a graduate of Hanover College and holds an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University. While living in the Mississippi Delta, she researched and wrote two books on the region's history, including a book on the murder of Emmett Till.
