They didn't know that He would become the center of the largest number of Believers in God in history, and they had no idea that somebody like me would take up their Stories centuries after they died.
Glimmerings: The Other Side of The Story offers a chance to find out what people like Joseph's Father thought about as he watched the Star of Bethlehem shine so brightly on the young woman who was pregnant before she even met his family. How did he feel about becoming the grandfather of the Son of God?. I've always wondered what Zechariah said when he found out Elizabeth was going to have a baby after all their years of unsuccess. What was their dinner conversation like, and how did they live each day before John was born?
The Story of Lazarus coming back to life had to be what it felt like for Jesus, too. What did Lazarus see during the three days before Jesus called him to come out of the tomb? What did it feel like to wake up from being dead?
An even bigger question I have is how did the Tree feel that was cut down to crucify Jesus or the Rock that was rolled in front of His tomb? What was Judas thinking as he ran from the Owner of the House of Passover, and where did he go to end his guilt?
These are all people who let me put their Stories into words so that we might see that their Faith Journeys were the same as ours. They want us to know that living with Jesus in a physical world isn't a whole lot different than finding Him in our Spiritual world, and they had questions and conflicts, times of Joy and days of doubt and desperate prayer just like we do.
Come listen to them, and let them tell you how He affected them. Maybe they can bring you a new way to find His Word in your life.view less
