Avid ...view moreHi. I'm Alessia. By day I am a college student majoring in marketing/advertising. By night I am a writer. I love to write, as evidenced by the book I wrote. I have always been an avid reader. Avid reading seems to be a gateway to writing, I always have a book(s) with me. At one point I carried around a hardcover Harry Potter book in my purse everywhere I went the summer I decided to re-read the series. I have a tendency to read multiple books at once. Don't ask me to name my favorite book because I can't name just one. I will end up listing several books. Some series I love are the Harry Potter series, the Sookie Stackhouse novels, the Twilight series and the Hunger Games books. Some other books which I adore are the Help, Miss Perigrine's Home For Peculiar Children, Water for Elephants, the Rum Diary and several more which I can't think of off the top of my head. When I write, I usually make a playlist that goes with what I'm writing. I have a huge collection of music. Different subjects require different kinds of music. With me music is essential to my writing process. Well, thats it. If you read all of this, thank you.
