She’s flown floatplanes throughout the Pacific Northwest for over 20 years and lived on sailboats, sailing the Salish Sea for even longer. She holds a Canadian Special record for being the first woman to fly across Canada, coast to coast, and the first person to do it in a floatplane.
Her writing has appeared in national magazines, both in the U.S. and Canada. This is her first novel. She presently lives on a small Island in the Salish Sea of British Columbia with her husband, raccoons and wild deer.view less
