Chris grew up in upstate New York and the Philadelphia area. He is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh undergraduate writing program, and as a teenager studied writing through the Johns Hopkins University's CTY program. Chris is a professional fundraiser by day, and has worked for organizations including the ACLU, City Harvest, and two Pennsylvania zoos.
