She moved to the Western Isles in 2006 through a work transfer opportunity. She has three grown up children, a son and twin daughters; She now lives in South Uist with her greyhounds and partner.
In 2012 Libby was made redundant and decided it was time to fulfil a lifelong ambition to write a novel. She attended a Crime Writer’s Workshop with Caro Ramsay, and that is where Matt MacAulay came to life.
Libby cares passionately about the strength of the community and family values and believes the people of Uist have much to teach the people of wider Scotland and beyond.view less
