Over 50 years experience in the real estate world have taught me a lot. A former mathematics teacher having graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle, real estate became much more exciting. I developed a second career: buying, selling, and sometimes developing Islands and Island properties.
The San Juan Islands in Washington and the Gulf Islands in British Columbia became my playgrounds. From there it was an easy stretch to Hawaii and the fabulous South Pacific, including Fiji, New Zealand and some remote Islands stretching over thousands of miles; I gained the reputation of being "The Island Buyer."
