An early interest in science blossomed into a doctorate in Medicinal Chemistry in 1975.Years later he would head back to the classroom to share his love of science with secondary and collegiate students. And while “Dr. B”, as he is known to his students, has written several articles for scientific journals, he gets a twinkle in his eye with the mention of science fiction. The recent loss of two close family members increased Martin’s interest in personal relationships and how these relationships affect our society. Coupling these events with his background as an educator, Vietnam Vet, Sunday School teacher and entrepreneur allow him deep insight into his characters’ development. In Kill Churchill time travel provides Martin an excellent venue to explore values, and the interaction of the rational and emotions we all possess.Martin currently resides in Shawnee Kansas where he lives with his wife Cathy. He is underway on his second novel where he travels into the future and explores a Baalosian saga; a world populated by six fingered creatures and two moons.view less
