Early in his life, he became incredibly interested in all things science and nature. From that point on, he embarked on a knowledge quest in the life and physical sciences. After entering college, a chance opportunity to work in a research lab reeled him in tighter. With degrees in biology, chemistry, and science education research through the Ph.D. level, James has spent 25 years in some form of research ranging from the feeding habits of woodland salamanders, to the activation of "packaged" genes in vitro, to the interaction of an individual's epistemological framework as related to learning controversial science topics.view less
